Sri Lankan Menu

Breakfast:

v     Mung atte Kiribath: Rice cooked in coconut milk with green gram lentils.

This comes with either pol sambol (grated fresh coconut with onions, chilli, a tomato and a dash of lime) or lunu miris (chilli mix, very spicy). Kiribath alone is not spicy at all.

v     String hoppers: like a small noodle pancake made with rice flour.

This comes with dhal (lentil curry) and pol sambol. The dhal can be made according to taste (chilli-hot or mild)

 Lunch

v     Rice and curry: ask Mrs Meegaswatte for the curries of the day.

 Dinner:

  v     Rice and curry

v     Pol Roti (small flat pancakes made from coconut and flour) with pumpkin curry or dhal curry and either pol sambol or seeni sambol (sweet and sour onions)

v     String hoppers: with dhal curry and pol sambol

v     Bread and curry

Other Sri Lankan meals can be made on request.
